Step 13: With the extracted subject layer still active, add a Reveal All layer mask by clicking on the Add Layer Mask icon at the bottom of the Layers panel. Press D, then X to set your Foreground color to black, and then dab a few spatters along the bottom of the dress. I even dabbed a couple times in the upper area, as you can see in the layer thumbnail.
